WoW Accounts Hacked by UI Mod Viruses
Posted on December 5, 2007 by Game Dame
Izo over at Murdering Murlocs has broken a story that I hadn’t read until just now. Izo says that two WoW UI mods have had keylogging viruses hacked into them. Go here to read more and find out what you can do to repair or prevent this problem.

Never download any mod ending in .exe and if the zip file includes an exe, delete it and post about it on the site’s forums. May be harmless, but better safe than sorry.
Thanks for the warning!
It is much easier to install anti-keylogging software(the one I recommend is: http://www.anti-keyloggers.com/) than to be always affraid of downloading any mods. It is also would be very suitable to install an anti-virus and a firewall. The first one will protect you from trojans that very often have keyloggers in them and the second one will protect the pc from any undesirable internet connections. Anyway, thanks for the warning!
@Exphunter: Thanks for the link — very helpful!
