Bioshock Review
Posted on December 19, 2007 by Game Dame
I finished Bioshock last weekend. I had planned to review it for the blog this week. However, today I read this brilliant review. Mighty Ponygirl says everything I would’ve said and more. She is definitely a better woman than I am since she actually slogged through one of Ayn Rand’s books in order to compare the game to Rand’s philosophy. (I admire someone willing to take one for the team. Especially when it’s not me.)
Anyway, I won’t be reviewing Bioshock. So go to Feminist Gamers and read Mighty Ponygirl’s review instead. I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Nuts. I hate it when Websense blocks me from reading a review on a game I’m curious about, and throwing in the Ayn Rand reference just makes me twist and squirm all the more to be free of these Dickensian bonds of slave labor! Augh! Must. Wait. To. Get. HOME……
you forgot to answer the most important question about bioshock.
good or bad ending? lol
@wargoo: LOL… d’oh! I babbled on about it on Mighty Ponygirl’s site so I probably thought I’d mentioned it here. For the record, I think I got the “good” ending. Although, if you read the comments on Feminist-Gamer, you’ll see that now I have some doubt. The word on the street is that if you harvest even ONE Little Sister, you get the bad ending. I accidentally harvested one when I fumble-fingered the controller, but the ending I got seemed pretty good. I’ll have to play it through again to answer your question definitively. :S
Well, it was an interesting review. The game looks visually soul-sapping. When I see games that look like Resident Evil, I just want nothing to do with it.
Highly misleading post
it should have had a not on the title.
