Remember how I told you I’d found an Orb of Deception? Well, guess what!? Tonight I sold it for 700G!!! Woot!!! Holy cow, holy cow, holy cow. Now Sligger will be able to afford his epic mount… assuming he ever gets enough honor to buy one. Color me flabbergasted!

    @thcgirl77: Thanks for requesting my opinion on the Flametongue change on the PTR. I don’t tend to comment on what’s happening on the PTR for a couple of reasons. First, I haven’t leveled a toon to 70 yet and I’d rather be playing with my real toon than messing around on the test servers. So that means I don’t have any direct experience with the changes. Second, I also don’t like playing what-if games with the PTR buffs/nerfs because things are so fluid and Blizzard changes them so often that it seems like a waste of energy to get wound up about it one way or the other.

    Having said all that, my knee-jerk reaction to the change is one of not caring too much. If your Shaman is resto specced, just use a different weapon buff. If your Shaman is DPS specced, the healing nerf probably won’t hurt that much. All of which brings me to the comment that I don’t have any idea why Blizzard thought this would be a good change to the game since it’s likely to have little impact either positively or negatively.

    So, that’s my 2 coppers!
