Clarification … and a video card
In case there was confusion over the tone of the last post, I’m not quitting the blog yet. Just “wrasslin” with some motivational issues. No impending doom meant.
The PC’s video card is really dying. I play WoW on the Mac but do everything else on the PC and right now I’m writing through a pink vertical line on my screen. I get dots all over the place too. I need to do some research on video cards and buy a new one. *sigh*
Happy Tax Day

Good to hear you aren’t leaving just yet
Before forking out money for a new video card, double check your monitor first. It could be just a dodgy cable or even the screen …

Second the monitor check suggestsion, cables are often a sneaky culprit.
If you do wind up needing a new card, any chance you could give us a little more info to point you in a direction?

phew…you’re back. Well Matticus and Kestrel said it very well but I’d like to chime in. Your voice is very distinctive.
Where else can I find a birthday peon to one’s cats? Lovely, funny and touching.
The graphic and video design discussion.
The clear and distinctive writing.
The humor.
It’s good stuff Game Dame.

Thank you all for being so supportive! I really appreciate it. I think just writing out some of those thoughts helped get them out of my system.

I just stumbled across your blog from wow insider. I saw your PC issues and I was going to message you to let you know that if the drivers don’t fix it it sounds like a video card issue(i know this is 6 months after the fact). I have a little experience in this kind of thing (been my job for the last few years ;p) and I hate to watch everyone throw in their two cents the one thing that have seen once that might be a problem. Alas, looks like it is already taken care of. My advice: get off the mac while you still can ;p
