Kara screenshots

My first trip to Kara was last Saturday. My guild is TEH AWESOME! They are so helpful and funny and willing to help The Big Cowy Noob. They even let me roll for some loot which is why I came away with my very first piece of Tier 4 gear: Gloves of the Fallen Champion!!! The next day I traded in the glove drop for Cyclone Handguards. Someday, my friends, hopefully Slig will look like this, only less Orcish and more, uh, Taurish?

I don’t have a long story and I forgot to take pics of every boss, but we downed Attumen the Huntsman & Midnight, Moroes, Maiden of Virtue, Big Bad Wolf (yes, I got turned into Little Red Riding Hood and promptly gotten eaten — my what big teeth he has!), and The Curator. We tried to make it through Shade of Aran so we could do the Chess Event, but by this time we’d been online for 5 hours and we were exhausted. The Shade wiped us twice and forced us to surrender to sleep. It was a WAY lot of fun. Here are some snapshots.

  1. Lol at wanting to be full T4… I dont know if its the same for resto shammys but for every class I have played, there is better stuff from other bosses in kara and gruul… and if you can manage it, awesome stuff from ZA.

Gratz on your first Kara run… It really is an awesome run the first 10-15 times… then once your exalted on 3 toons and revered on a 4th and have 2 more 60+ characters, you really dread going in… even if its a full clear in just over 2 hours lol

  2. Ooh, check out them spiffy gloves! (now hurries up and enchant’em)

Me team’s baby shammy Alayda recently transferred overs ta Drenden, so she may be saying “hi” ta Slig every nows and then.

  3. Hey, Ratter, I’ll be on Slig tonight so I’ll keep an eye out for Alayda.

  4. Yay! Kara is so much fun. And you still get to experience the dragons and Prince. Chess I found confusing and I’m only beginning to figure out what’s going on, but that might be because I never played chess ….. anyway, congratz!

  5. Oh, thank God, I was worried I was the only one who still hadn’t seen Kara.

  6. Haven’t checked your blog in a while – been moving into my new house. But wanted to (belatedly) say Congrats on your first Kara run! it really is fun the first several times through – and it can even be fun when your guild has the place on farm. Keep it up and keep having fun :)
